Hi Suzette,
What a fantastic trip, incredible and unforgettable! You put it together so well, and we're so glad we arranged it through you.
Our journey started at Palulu, where the owner was already waiting for us at the airport. The cabins were beautiful and spotlessly clean, surrounded by small creeks where we could cool off wonderfully. And what a cook! Every meal was a feast.
After that we left for Jaw Jaw A Tela for four days. The journey alone was an experience! We stayed among the villagers, went on nature hikes, sailed across the river at night (where we spotted caimans!), and listened to a captivating story from the village chief by the campfire.
After these special days we returned to Palulu, from where we had a two-day tour with guide Jo kayak trip on the Coesewijne We had a wonderful time. What an adventure! The scenery was breathtaking, Jo had so much to share, and gathering wood together for a campfire to cook our food made it extra special. Sleeping in a hammock at night, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle—unforgettable!
After that we enjoyed two days of Paramaribo, with an interesting tour full of history and culture. We also booked a pink belly dolphin tour, and that was fantastic too.
Then we flew with a Cessna to Amatopo, where Jeroen and his team welcomed us warmly. Every day there was a well-organized program, with incredibly kind and knowledgeable guides, each with their own specialty. The nature, the stories, the animals – truly impressive.
We ended our trip with four days at Pepperpot, where we did a birdwatching tour and visited Museum Cup We booked. That turned out to be the icing on the cake! The owner and his wife, Marscha, spoke passionately about the history and the unique collection – a wonderful ending to our trip.
Suzette, thank you for everything! You made our trip to Suriname unforgettable. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we enjoyed it from start to finish.
