Now I have even sent my own child into the Surinamese jungle
I see my daughter laughing and sailing across the river in a canoe while she is being hit by a typical Surinamese tropical rain shower. In the afternoon she then goes fishing with a girl from the local village. Rain and fishing are two things to which she reacts a lot less enthusiastically at home.

This week I bought a beautiful pineapple plant at our flower shop around the corner. When I see pineapple plants, I immediately get a summer feeling. With this tropical week ahead, I couldn't resist. The pineapple plant immediately brought me back in my mind to the climb of the Ananasberg in Suriname.
