Dear Suzette,
Once again this time (the 4th time), we had a fantastic holiday thanks to your preparation and efforts.
Everything was well organized, apartment in Paramaribo, trips to the interior, pick-up and drop-off service and communication.
The decision to have a fixed address in Paramaribo has suited us very well. It saves a lot of packing and unpacking, and that gives us a lot of peace of mind.
On the Akira Overwater Resort (Bigi Pan) we thought it was a pity that, besides the boat trips, there wasn't much else to do than watch birds etc. from a boat.
Really going out alone is not an option there. In that regard, you had on Bloemendaal more space to go out.
In terms of the resort, hospitality, and quality of the meals, both were perfectly fine.
Our trip to Amatopo Rainforest Resort It was amazing. Beautiful location, lots to do, exceptionally hospitable, and great meals.
Highly recommended, especially for bird lovers.
What we did find a pity is that they keep scheduling a visit to a village, which is quite often perceived as an obligation.
What we had organized ourselves outside of that included a day trip to a museum. A cup of coffee which we were very enthusiastic about.
We also paid a visit to the Butterfly Garden and Para Flor in Lelydorp, but to no avail.
The website states that it is open, but that has not been the case for a long time.
Corona turns out to be the culprit, just like so many other places we were fortunate enough to visit in the past. A real shame.
We would like to thank you very much for the excellent care you took throughout our entire trip, and who knows???
Many thanks and perhaps see you again.
