My personal Suriname travel experiences
Passion for Suriname was the basis for the creation of Suriname Holidays in 2002. After years of experience in the travel industry and having seen a lot of the world myself, I have finally lost my heart to Suriname. The country has many possibilities. It is an unpolished diamond with a charming population. However, the destination is still very exclusive due to small-scale tourism. Flexibility and diversity in the offering was lacking. That could have been better! Now we are 20 years further. A stable and trusted network has been built up in Suriname. The Suriname Holidays customers are treated as VIP guests.
Direct contact with the local executors
The offerings are largely based on my personal travel experiences. Through my annual visit to Suriname, I stay up-to-date on matters such as new accommodations and expansion plans. I consider it important to maintain good personal contacts on the ground. I work directly with the main contractors. This ensures clear communication with short lines of communication, allowing me to arrange just ' that little bit extra '. From the Netherlands, I call, text, and email the people in Suriname daily. We discuss upcoming trips, more sustainable solutions, new products, renovation work, and the wide range of requests from clients looking to plan a tour of Suriname.

You can put together your ideal trip yourself using the various travel segments (modules/accommodations). There are also several sample tours available to give you an idea of the possibilities. I develop a detailed tailor-made proposal for every client. I can also create tours myself if there are specific requests. In this way, much more is possible than I can publish on the website.

All trips can be organized for you on an individual basis. Because Suriname is not a country where tours depart daily and infrastructure is often lacking, thorough preparation is essential for the success of your holiday.
