Akira Overwater Resort – Bigi Pan Nature Reserve

At the Akira Overwater Resort, guests have their own spacious lodge, equipped with comfortable beds. There is room for 1 to 3 people, and you have access to electricity and can use a fan. Each lodge has a private deck at the rear with a view of the water and neat sanitary facilities equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. The only thing you need to muster some courage for is the cold shower. The resort is built entirely on stilts in the water and is connected by jetties. In the spacious lounge, you can relax with a drink and watch the sun set. The restaurant serves a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet every day.

Akira Overwater Resort is owned by the same owner as Anaula Nature Resort on the Upper Suriname River. We have managed to combine the two accommodations in the attractive Enchanting Suriname tour.
