Danpaati River Lodge is situated on an island in the middle of the Upper Suriname River , near the Saramacca village of Dan. The atmospheric lodges are inspired by the local huts of the inhabitants of the surrounding area. They are simply furnished and equipped with a private shower and toilet. There is a common area where meals are served. A bar/lounge area is also located here.
You can relax here by the pool, beautifully situated among the island's tropical vegetation. The yoga and meditation deck invites everyone to find mental peace.

Program
During your stay at Danpaati there is a full program full of varied activities. Included in the price are a forest walk, a visit to the nearby Maroon village of Dan and a night boat trip. Additional trips and excursions can be organized locally for an additional charge.
