You have a guarantee on your booked trip with Suriname Holidays. We are affiliated with the SGR, SGRZ and VvKr. Below you can read more about what this means for you as a consumer.
Travel Guarantee Fund Foundation
Suriname Holidays BV (Chamber of Commerce registration number 34 150 604) is affiliated with SGR. You can verify this via the SGR website . Within the limits of the SGR guarantee scheme , the trips published on this website are covered by the SGR guarantee. This SGR guarantee means that the consumer is assured that their prepaid travel funds will be refunded if the counterparty is unable to fulfill the agreed performance due to financial insolvency. Insofar as the agreement also includes transport and the destination has already been reached, arrangements will be made for the return journey. As of February 1, 2021, affiliated organizations pay a mandatory contribution of €5 per person per booking to SGR. The SGR contribution is indicated separately on your invoice/confirmation. Children under 2 years of age (at the time of booking) are exempt from this contribution.

Business Travel Guarantee Fund Foundation
Suriname Holidays BV (Chamber of Commerce no. 34 150 604) is affiliated with SGRZ. You can check this via www.sgrz.nl. Within the limits of the SGRZ guarantee scheme, the trips published on this website are covered by the SGRZ guarantee. The SGRZ Guarantee means that the client is assured that his prepaid travel money will be refunded if the other party is unable to fulfill the agreed performance due to financial inability. To the extent that the agreement also includes transport and the place of destination has already been reached, the return journey will be taken care of.
SGRZ was established as a guarantee fund for travel companies active in the business market. Trips that we organize for schools, institutions and companies are also covered by the SGRZ guarantee.
VvKR
Small-scale travel organizations united
In 2011, travel specialists joined forces within VvKR, the Association of Small-Scale Travel Organizations. As experts with extensive experience, we stand for a personal approach and focus on small-scale tourism. You travel in small groups or on an individual basis and stay in often authentic accommodations in unique locations or off the beaten track. We distinguish ourselves through our commitment and expertise. You can turn to a travel organization with VvKR membership for personalized travel advice and a personal approach.
Security for consumers
As a member of VvKR, we also offer a travel guarantee through the SGR on our package holidays. In addition to the mandatory travel guarantee, we have business liability insurance for travel organizations/tour operators. This liability insurance (AVB) covers damage to persons and/or property and the resulting consequential damage should something unexpected happen during the trip.
