Restore Brownsberg Nature Park in Suriname
Surinamese colleagues join forces

From this week, a limited number of visitors can come to Brownsberg. A Covid-19 policy has been put together. This way everything can be kept under control. In addition, visitors must follow the established Covid-19 measures. Allowing tourists will again generate income for the Suriname Nature Conservation Foundation. Hopefully, tourists from other countries will soon be able to visit the beautiful nature park again.

Ronny continues
Ronny will be taking on more jobs in the near future. His company can only start running again once Suriname is opened to European tourists. The walking paths in the nature park are being tackled. In addition, more picnic tables and benches will be added. This furniture is made by the team itself. This is all funded from the donation fund. More than €2.500 of the targeted €5.000 has now been raised. Your help is still desperately needed and very welcome!
Brownberg Nature Park more accessible.
In addition to renovating the nature park itself, the team wants to tackle the unpaved access road to the plateau. Many vans get stranded, especially during the rainy season. The poor condition of the road is the main cause. Such delays place additional burden on colleagues because alternative transport is required. This always entails additional costs. In addition, tourists cannot optimally enjoy the Nature Park at such a time. To make the road more passable, many trucks of laterite are needed. Ronny also wants to cover these costs from donations.
