Candidate B&B Vol Liefde is looking for a girlfriend for his Surinamese jungle adventure
Have you seen the new B&B Vol Liefde yet? Then you've probably already enjoyed the first images of Suriname. 32-year-old Dick from Meerzorg is one of the candidates for B&B Full of Love 2025: an adventurer who is looking for a woman who wants to travel through the jungle with him.
Passion for the jungle
Dick is an experienced wildlife guide. He specializes in herpetofauna (reptiles and amphibians). A stone's throw from Paramaribo, Dick has been running B&B Sutopia, A resort with eight apartments nestled in the heart of nature. He also runs a tour company and captures wild snakes from houses to reintroduce them to their natural habitat. Dick has lost his heart to Suriname: "My passion lies in the jungle and the animals."
Collaboration between Suriname Holidays and Dick Lock
Sutopia Apartments has been part of Suriname Holidays' offerings for quite some time. When Dick took over Sutopia from its former owners a few years ago, our collaboration intensified. Read more about his first experiences in Suriname (during the coronavirus pandemic) in his blog from 2020.

Dick's B&B is located in the district CommewijneThe Sutopia apartments are fully equipped, including air conditioning, hot water, Wi-Fi, a kitchen, a terrace, and a comfortable bed. The grounds feature a variety of fruit trees. For cooling off, there's a (small) swimming pool and a wonderful relaxation area in a covered hut by the river.

From Sutopia, guests can explore the Commewijne district independently on a rental bike. Peperpot Plantation and the WWF nature trail are just around the corner.
