Update Covid-19 – Suriname Holidays
Through our news page I try to give you as best as possible an update on the situation surrounding Covid-19 in Suriname and the influence on the trips of Suriname Holidays. At this time we can keep you up to date on the situation for the month of October 2020.
The situation in Suriname – October 2020
The number of Covid-19 infections in Suriname is currently fairly stable. There is still an entry ban for people who want to travel from the Netherlands to Suriname. Exceptions only apply to people with a Surinamese passport, people with a valid Surinamese residence permit and people with a PSA Card (proof of residency in Suriname). A mandatory 10-day quarantine at a government-approved location currently applies to anyone entering Suriname from the Netherlands. The costs of the quarantine stay are at your own expense. .
Orange travel advice
It is estimated that the travel advice for Suriname will remain unchanged at code orange for the time being. With code orange, unnecessary travel is not recommended. With this information, the situation in Suriname, but also here in Europe, is too fragile to send our customers on their way in a safe and responsible manner.
That's why we decided that we all departing trips to Suriname for the entire month of October to cancel.
