Pearly white beaches, an azure blue sea, radiant sun, but also cheerful people and swinging salsa music, these are the perfect ingredients for a carefree holiday in Curaçao. Many of my customers make one combination trip Suriname-Curaçao to na impressions of Suriname to be able to relax and discover something on your own. If you do not want to make a combination trip but only to Curaçao, I can of course also arrange that for you. I would like to tell you more about the interesting possibilities of the island. Discover the special ones, mainly small-scale accommodations which I have selected with care. I do not offer accommodations on Curaçao that are close to tourist attractions such as Mambo Beach and Jan Thiel Bay. There are some of my favorite addresses in St. Michiel and the nearby bay: Mondi Lodge en Waterside Apartments. But do you need a little more liveliness in the evenings? Then is Villa Tokara a unique and pleasant accommodation in the middle of the historic part of Willemstad.
Off the beaten track
The island is rich in cultural heritage. For example, visit one or more stately country houses which are partly open to the public. Nnature and bird lovers will experience the untouched nature in it Christopher Park finding interesting. Here you can beautiful walks that vary from 20 minutes to 3 hours. In the Shete Boka National Park, which is located on the wild north coast of the island, the wild waves are a true spectacle. This force of nature is in total contrast with the quietly rippling water along the white sandy beaches on the other side of the island.
Start or end your Suriname holiday on Curaçao
A trip to Suriname can easily be combined with a stay on Curaçao. It is possible to end or start your holiday on Curaçao. Then I arrange a combination flight with KLM to Paramaribo and back from Curaçao or vice versa. The regional flight between Paramaribo and Curaçao will then be operated by Surinam Airways. I send active travelers who want to discover the island in a rental car. If you come to enjoy the beach, I can arrange a transfer to your accommodation.
